My broker said Fund Managers selling Blue Chips, anticipating DJ to down tonight.
Maybe a major correction is in due since the rise from Mar 2009.
Other factors contributing to this downturn could be due to China Government tightening the credit, and Obama's speech on Bank Plan. Frown Blush

corporate earnings season coming up, expect good results from many companies.

correction to set in probably in march-april.

Wall Street's slight pullback may give investors more reason to avoid Singapore shares, with sentiment already hurt by China's efforts to cool its economy. Investors may also be reluctant to take positions before outcome of FOMC meeting due tonight.

Still, downside may be limited considering yesterday's steep falls, with STI closing down 2.5% at 2-month low of 2740.33; initial support for benchmark at minor trough of 2729 set in November, followed by 2700, while any upside unlikely to challenge 2800.

"The main issue for the market now is still China. The retraction in prices so far may be good for people wanting to buy, but we're telling our clients to wait for more clarity in the market," says dealer at local brokerage.

Why would someone surf a betting forum and flame another person if he himself nber bet?

Most females nber bet on soccer but I dun see them surfing a betting forum "just for fun" and start flaming people.

Singaporean males realli have lots of free time on their hands. Should try to make more babies to help the birth rates.

  		yes...good to load up if you find the stocks worth buying at good valuation and if you have not enter your position.

if you have bought at low during the great recession and not yet sell, you might want to wait for next rally after CNY....this is where most companies report their FY 2009 results, comparing year-on-year 2008-2009 net earning results.

I forsee FY 2009 earning results should be positive; if not better than last year 2008. Hence, maybe market might be up due to the good news.

Additionally, casino and theme parks opening coming soon. Hope this will be another positive catalyst.



Betting objective: Cover up fixed monthly expenses!
